Strengths & Skills
My five defining strengths are resilience, compassion, problem-solving, dependability, and calmness under pressure. As a team leader during a resuscitation, I used concise delegation to organize care in a chaotic moment. I also supported the push for electronic consent at UVA Community Health by presenting safety reports, policy gaps, and clinical examples to leadership. I am intentionally growing in delegation, independent clinical decision-making, and organizational leadership.

Advocating for E-Consent

My professional brand speaks to patients and families who deserve respectful, individualized care; nursing colleagues and future providers who benefit from mentorship; interdisciplinary partners who share responsibility for safety; and healthcare leaders who can translate frontline concerns into sustainable improvement.

Brand Visuals
Deep teal represents trust and steadiness; sage represents growth and healing; warm ivory brings clarity; muted champagne adds warmth. Georgia headings and clean sans-serif body text balance humanity with professionalism. My imagery focuses on authentic care, calm spaces, collaboration, and meaningful connection rather than impersonal clinical stock photography.
Color Symbolism
Deep Teal
Teal draws on the calm of deep water. It signals trust, steadiness, and quiet confidence, which are the qualities patients and teams need from a leader during uncertain or high-pressure moments, like directing a code.
Sage
Sage is a soft, living green tied to nature, renewal, and healing. It reflects my belief that health and leadership are always growing, and it keeps the brand gentle and restorative rather than clinical.
Warm Ivory
Ivory offers the clarity of white without the cold, sterile feeling of a hospital wall. It creates open, breathable space and stands for honesty, transparency, and the calm environments where good care happens.
Muted Champagne
Champagne adds a touch of human warmth, like skin tones, a held hand, or something fresh from the oven. Used sparingly as an accent, it symbolizes compassion, grace, and the personal connection at the heart of nursing.
Together, the palette balances steadiness with softness, which is professional enough to earn confidence and warm enough to make people feel safe.
My path in nursing has asked me to remain steady through challenging clinical and personal experiences. I learned the value of clear leadership while directing a code and the importance of speaking up through work on electronic consent. Continuing graduate education while navigating significant personal loss strengthened my resilience, but also taught me that success should not be measured by how much I can endure alone. Outside healthcare, reading and baking remind me to find calm, nurture relationships, and make room for joy. As I grow into advanced practice, I want to combine clinical care with advocacy, mentorship, and systems improvement. I hope people remember how supported and respected they felt in my presence.
